VITRO CISET EPB is recognised as a pool of technological
excellence in the Walloon Region of Belgium
for providing satellite and other advanced
telecommunications services.
VITRO CISET EPB is the Operations
and Maintenance (O&M)
contractor of the European Space Agency
(ESA) for the Redu site, which is home to
an
extensive satellite control and in-orbit testing
facilities.
Redu, where VITRO CISET EPB has an experienced staff of 50
at
the site, is located along the motorway Brussels -
Luxembourg (E411) and is only one hour away from either
city. The
company’s headquarter is
located at Dinant,
about 40 kilometres north of
Redu.
The experience gathered in working for ESA has allowed VITRO CISET EPB to develop a significant expertise
in
satellite communications, as a provider of added value
technical services
and turnkey systems. Its design
and development approach
is
fully tailored to the Customer's requirements and
operational needs. All aspects
of the project are taken
care
of, from management, design, engineering, implementation,
testing and satellite validation to operations and
maintenance, thus providing the Customer with a unique
responsibility interface.
The company has an in depth experience in system design
and conception of satellite ground stations
together with a work force of highly trained engineers and
technicians for the installation and operations.
